How do I fix a connection failure?

Switching/replacing connected devices in three easy steps

1. Turn off the controller.

2. Press “NS/2.4G” or “BT” depending on the device you want to connect to.

3. Press and hold the corresponding mode button until the Home indicator starts blinking rapidly. This indicates the controller has entered pairing mode.

Home indicator color explanation:

  • Green indicates Bluetooth connection
  • Pink indicates NS/2.4G connection
  • Red indicates low battery/charging

Home indicator blinks slowly:

Press the Home button, and the indicator blinks slowly, indicating the controller is searching for the last connected device.

Home indicator blinks quickly:

Press and hold the corresponding mode button, and the Home indicator blinks rapidly, indicating the controller is ready to pair with a new device.

How to change the back button/vibration adjustment method

Here are the OTA upgrade detailed steps:

1. Download the “KeyLinker” app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Open the app and approve the Bluetooth feature request.
3. Press and hold the controller’s home button for 2 seconds. Wait for the name “keyLinkerBLE-Y318” to appear in the KeyLinker list, then tap Connect.
4. After the connection is successful, the game list will appear. Tap the three dots in the upper right corner and select Firmware Update.
5. You’ll see the current controller version and the latest firmware version. Tap “Update Now.” If prompted, tap “Yes.”
6. Wait for the firmware update to complete.
7. Once the progress bar reaches 100%, the update will indicate a successful update, and the controller will disconnect and shut down.

 

Before the update (version number: V2.15), the functionality was as follows:

1. Vibration Control: Press RT+LT+RB+LB simultaneously to automatically switch the controller’s intensity.

2. Back Button Settings: Press and hold the M1/M2/M3/M4 button for 2 seconds, then enter the mapped button combination. After completing the mapping, press the M1/M2/M3/M4 button again.

After the OTA update (version number: V2.16), the functionality is as follows:

1. Vibration Control: Press the T button while moving the Left Joystick up or down to increase or decrease the vibration intensity.

2. Back Button Settings: Press and hold the T button while simultaneously pressing one of the M1/M2/M3/M4 buttons. The RGB light will change color, indicating the device is in setup mode. When the input is complete, press the M1/M2/M3/M4 button again.

How to set up programmable keys?

Attention! We’re currently rolling out an OTA update. Please approve the update request while connected to your computer via USB-C.
After the update, the programmable buttons will now be set as follows: Press and hold any of the M1/M2/M3/M4 buttons while simultaneously holding down the T button for one second. Once recording is complete, press the corresponding M1/M2/M3/M4 button again to complete the setting.

For controllers that have not been OTA upgraded, please use the following method:

  1. Press and hold the macro buttons (M1/M2/M3/M4) for 2 seconds to activate macro programming mode.
  2. At this time, the “stick light ring/strip is pink and always on”, and the controller vibrates once, which means that it has entered the keystroke recording program.
  3. Recordable keys: (A,B,X,Y,LB,RB,LT,RT,L3,R3, directional buttons (up, down, left, right, left/right joystick) in any combination, support for multiple combinations of keys can also be set to one key.
  4. Once the buttons are set, press the corresponding macro buttons (M1/M2/M3/M4) again to complete the setup.
  5. The controller lights will return to normal and the controller will vibrate once.

Note: You can clear/remove previously set key mappings by pressing and holding the corresponding macro button for 2 seconds. After the vibration, press the corresponding macro button directly without entering any keystrokes.

The controller has a memory function, so it will remember the previously set macro buttons the next time you power it on.

Vibration intensity Adjustment:

Attention! We’re currently working on an OTA update. Please connect to your computer via USB-C and approve the update request.
After the update, the vibration settings will be as follows: Hold down the T button and move the left stick up to increase the vibration intensity, or down to decrease it. The default setting is 70%.

 

The controllers that have not been OTA upgraded are configured as follows:

The vibration intensity is divided into a total of 4-levels:
4 levels of vibration 100%,
3 levels of vibration 70%,
2 levels of vibration 30%,
1 level of vibration 0%.

LB LT RB RT press simultaneously for 1 second to adjust the intensity of vibration, the default is 3-levels-70%

Note: When adjusting the motor vibration gear, in addition to the 1 -step adjustment will not vibrate, 2-4-stepadjustment will be based on the strength of the vibration will vibrate a little that is successful.

Setting Turbo Function:

Turbo continuous shot function is divided into 2 different modes:

Manual-turbo (default mode): Keeping the settings button pressed will keep triggering the function.

Auto-turbo: Pressing the Set button once will always trigger the function and pressing it again will pause it.

There are turbo of continuous shot speed: 12/s
The keys of Turbo can be set as: A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT, RT

Press and hold the button you want to set as TURBO function, press the TURBO button again, the stick light/strip flashes and then lights up normally then the setting is successful;
the stick light/strip will flash rapidly when the set TURBO button is pressed.

Auto or Manual: Press and hold the Set to TURBO function button and press the TURBO button again to change to fully automatic TURBO function;
Turn off TURBO: Press and hold the button set to TURBO function, when you press and hold the TURBO button for 3 seconds, the handle vibrates a little, the stick light/light bar returns to the previously set light mode, clearing all the buttons TURBO function successfully.

Note: After setting the TURBO function, the joystick light will flash when the TURBO function is used, and the light mode will be restored when the TURBO function is canceled.
*Long press the TURBO button for 3 seconds to cancel all TURBO functions.

Trigger Lock:

There are three levels of trigger travel, adjusted to 3 at the top, 2 in the middle, and 1 at the bottom.

Level 1 = 0 or 1, 1 for triggering;
Level 2 = 0-50% , with 50% being the travel length;
Level 3 = 0-100% , with 100% being the maximum travel length.

Note: When one of the trigger travel keys is switched to any gear, it corresponds to the corresponding Home button light flashing several times for different trigger travel gears. Example: 1 flash for 1st gear, 2 flashes for 2nd gear, 3 flashes for 3rd gear.

Restart Controller:

lf the controller is abnormal or unresponsive during operation, you can reset the controller.Use a paper clip to insert the RESET hole on the back of the controller until the reset switch ispressed and there is a “click” sound. The controller power is turned off, indicating that thereset is successful.
In addition, if the firmware upgrade fails, you can also perform a RESET to reset and try again.RESET will not delete the various settings in the controller (macro programming/vibrationlevel/RGB Light set).

Controller Calibration Function:

Joystick Calibration:

With the device powered off, press and hold FN + START + HOME for 2 seconds. The RGB light on the HOME button will light up and slowly flash purple, indicating calibration mode.

Slowly rotate and push the joystick left and right 2-3 times (a 360° rotation). Once calibration is complete, press the BACK button to exit.

Note: While in calibration mode, the Home button light will slowly flash purple. Press the BACK button to exit. Calibration is complete when the Home button light turns off.

6-Axis Motion Calibration:

Place the controller flat on a table. With the controller powered off, press and hold the “BACK” + “A” + “HOME” buttons for 3 seconds. The “Home” button will slowly flash yellow to enter calibration mode.

Press the “Start” button to complete calibration and power off the controller.

Note: During calibration, the “Home” button will slowly flash yellow. After 30 seconds, press the “Start” button to exit calibration. The Home button light will turn off, indicating calibration is complete.

RGB Light Setting

The light bar/joystick light ring has two color modes: a seven-color gradient mode and a steady-on mode. Press the [Lighting Mode] button to switch between modes.

 

Mode 1: Seven-color gradient mode. The colors change from red to yellow, cyan to green, cyan to blue, and finally purple, in a circular pattern from left to right.

Mode 2: Steady-on mode. The colors change from red to yellow, cyan to green, cyan to blue, and finally purple. Press the [Lighting Mode] button to switch colors. After switching to purple, the colors automatically cycle through red, yellow, cyan, green, cyan, blue, and finally purple.

Turn OFF: In constant light mode, toggle between single colors. Press the switch a ninth time to turn off the lights.
